It's the performance monitor, but why it needs acess to the internet I can't tell.
It is the most resource hungry process running on my netbook.
Yes, it is a file name for the performance monitor. It should not run all the time if the performance monitor is not running. I checked this out on my laptop and desktop. The laptop that is running very slow has this process running without the performance monitor open. This tells me I need to look at where this file is located. If it is not located in the right place I think it should be removed.
