What is KeyMan.exe?

The genuine KeyMan.exe file is a software component of Multimedia Keyboard by Cherry.
Special programmable keys offered on keyboards made by Cherry Corporation require the Keyman.exe module to operate properly. Cherry manufactures keyboards, mice, and other computer input devices, as well as industrial switching and control technology. Cherry Electrical Products, founded in a restaurant basement in Highland Park, IL, USA, by Walter Cherry in 1953, performed most of its expansion into Europe, Mexico and Asia before its acquisition by ZF Friedrichshafen in 2008. No connection exists between "Keyman.exe" and the "Keyman" software line of multilingual virtual keyboards by Tavultesoft. All modules developed by or for Tavultesoft have the suffixes ".KMX" or ".KMP".
