seems like it comes pre-installed on Dell computers with DVD drives
Came with Dell laptop. Watches for DVD's to be inserted. I vaguely recall reading something about Dell installing it because some DVD's were installing malware on their machines and it is supposed to prevent this from happening.
i know that it's apart of the DVDsentry application and i do not believe that it's harmful. The weird thing is my computer seems to access it every minute or less
This can be removed from a command window: MsiExec.exe /I{98DF85D9-96C0-4F57-A92E-C3539477EF5E}
