driverupdaterpro.exe is Driver Update Software. It downloads driver updates automatically and safely from hardware's manufacturer.
Scan resulted in many bad tweaks, now I can't get rid of the program.
Apps like this get in the way of proper drivers that should automatically download for free not mislead you into buying an activation key. Not that I would. I'm now having trouble trying to get rid of it. I hate it so ain't gonna rate it.

Its a virus. It screwed the access my internet connection drivers.
I went to a website for oTweak software and bought the DriverUpdaterPro...or so I thought. The DriverUpdaterPro was advertised for $9.99 but the registration key did not work so I called the phone number on the oTweak site and ended up talking to someone from Driver Detective Support. Turns out that they were the ones I had signed up with to the tune of $33.00. When I contacted oTweak I was told they did not have an order from my email. I am sure many people have fallen for this scam....I can't believe I did.

I purchased DriverUpdaterPro and installed it about a week ago. Did a scan. It said it updated a number of drivers. Ran scan again about a week later, yesterday. A long message came up saying "You are using an older version of program, etc., etc." Message did not seem right. Called support. First tech started by asking me many questions; is computer running slowly, am I having many pop ups, has my browser been hijacked a by another (now this one really hit home as Yahoo comes up instead of Chrome which I use and this started about the same time that I purchased DriverUpdaterPro. Still can't figure out how to solve that problem). Now I am more suspicious. The tech now wanted to access my computer over the internet so he could fix the problem, which I would not let him do. After a while he started to get hostile and hung up on me when I continued questioning him. I called back and got another Tech that went the same way and wanting to access my computer. Now I am sure there is something not right and after some back and forth I hung up. Today I tried a scan again and it went through like it did the first day I purchased it a week ago. Something is not right with this company.
I can't believe I fell for this scam. Under no circumstance deal with this company, I too had problems with the the registration key called support and they tried to scare me into all sort of extra charges and I asked for a refund and I'm still waiting. They just sent me more registration keys even though the email stated I wanted to take advantage of the money back guarantee. I should have no better!!!
Inadvertently installed and can't get rid of it. Now slowing my computer down. I would classify it as extremely dangerous. Uninstall doesn't work. Spyware scan doesn't detect it.

I use this program when working with drivers, in my opinion it is more convenient than doing everything manually.
