What is AMl.exe?

The genuine AMl.exe file is a software component of Sony VAIO Launcher by Sony.
AML.exe is an executable file that belongs to the VAIO AV Mode Launcher, an on-screen dock and toolbar which provides shortcuts to certain pre-installed programs including Windows Media Center and Internet Explorer. This is not an essential Windows process and can be disabled if known to create problems.
